Individual admission is $15 for a weekend pass or $10 for a daily pass. Doors open at 9:00 AM on Saturday for presale ticket holders and 10:00 AM for admissions purchased the day of the show. Attendees can expect to see and play these and rarer systems at the Expo. Classic video gaming is most closely associated with home consoles like the Atari 2600/5200/7800, Nintendo NES and Super NES systems, Sega Master System/Genesis and other game systems released in the 1980s and early 1990s. Additionally, the Expo will include contests, door prizes and a live "video game geek trivia contest". The expo keynote will be given my Portland's Robin Mihara, third-place winner of the 1990 Nintendo World Championships and producer of a film examining modern Tetris competition. Certain options are only available in certain cities so you'll need to travel to specific destinations based on your current needs in the game.The Expo will feature a large area of free-play video game consoles, full-size classic arcade machines, a classic video game "museum", common areas for socializing and competitive gaming, organized tournaments and plenty of classic video games for sale from our many vendors. Progressing in the game requires that you travel, that's what triggers the start of the next day. On the top half of the screen you’ll see your current stats, your cash, and your current location on the left side, and on the right side you’ll see all of the items available for trade, the current prices, and the quantity of each that you currently own. When the game starts, you’re presented with a main menu of options at the bottom of the screen: Buy, Sell, Bank, Stats, Travel, Doctor, Train, Fight, Lender, and Rest. You’ll have to deal with random events that occur when traveling that can help or hinder your progress. You set out with a $5,000 loan for a month in the abyss, looking to earn as much money as you can while surviving your journey. David Exton created wonderful packaging for the game. Death Merchant is a new Atari 7800 game by Maximus that will be making its debut in physical form at PRGE this year.
